Having left Sri Lanka at 17 and grown up in Europe, I’ve always felt privileged to experience a diverse, international life. My roots in Sri Lanka, a place brimming with love and remarkable people, are a constant source of blessing. Like many Sri Lankans, I’m driven to contribute to global betterment and seize opportunities for improvement wherever possible.
With over 12 years of active involvement in Round Table International, spanning club, national, and international board positions, and having served as an advisory board member to Emerge Lanka, I’ve remained deeply engaged in these pursuits. My latest business venture responds to the multifaceted challenges facing companies today, where existing solutions often create new obstacles.
Inspired by my relocation to Austria to accommodate my wife’s desire to be closer to her family, I’ve identified a pressing need for IT professionals in Europe. Simultaneously, I’ve witnessed Sri Lanka grappling with economic hardships and a critical shortage of foreign exchange (Forex), even as it calls upon its brightest talents to drive national development. Having undergone the migrant experience myself, I intimately understand the trials of separation from loved ones, culture shock, and the longing for home. I’ve also witnessed firsthand the struggle of individuals in Sri Lanka who cannot earn fair wages and are forced to consider migration as their only recourse for financial stability and Forex generation.
Thus, my business model is designed as a win-win solution: European companies gain access to the skilled professionals they require while Sri Lanka secures vital Forex inflows. At the same time, IT professionals can enjoy deserving salaries without sacrificing their familial ties or lifestyle.
